51 mm filter baskets suitable for Delonghi Dedica 685/885

Variants at a glance:

20mm basket:

• Filling capacity: Ideal for 12.5g ground coffee with our APAS Espresso
• Use: Perfect for a single espresso
• Compatibility: Suitable for the original portafilter of the DeLonghi Dedica (51 mm). With older models, the black plastic insert may need to be removed, causing the coffee to flow in three streams. Also fits the Delonghi Linea Classic EM450.M
• Brewing recommendation: Ratio 1:2.5 in 25 seconds (12.5g APAS yields 31g espresso in the cup)
• Suitable for: Bottomless portafilters or Dual spout portafilter

25mm basket:

• Filling capacity: For 16g ground coffee with our APAS Espresso, ideal for a double espresso or two single espressos
• Use: Not directly compatible with the original Dedica portafilter – the black insert must be removed, causing the coffee to flow in three streams.
• Compatibility: After adjustment in the original portafilter or directly in the bottomless or dual spout portafilter usable. Also fits the Delonghi Linea Classic EM450.M
• Brewing recommendation: Ratio 1:2.5 in 25 seconds (approx. 40g double espresso in the cup)

Note for Delonghi EC 940 Maestro Plus: Both basket variants fit directly into the original portafilter without any adjustments.
